Condemnation of praising oneself.

فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ‌ۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ  Ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who has Taqwa (Piety).
