Your Tawbah becomes sincere in 3 Conditions. Mentioned by the Scholars. And it is: 

1] Having remorse over the committed sin. 

2] Quitting the sin. 

3] The determination not to return to that sin. 

If [A Muslim] meets these 3 conditions, then his repentance is sincere.

And if the sin committed commits to the rights of humans. Then added to this condition is a 4^th one, and that is where [The Muslim] absolves themselves of this sin by returning the right to its people or they can ask for forgiveness or pardon.
