الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ وَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
All praise is due to Allah. We praise him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him. Whoever Allah leads astray, there is none to guide him. I testify there is no one worthy of worship but Allah alone, without any partners, and that Muhammad, peace, and blessings be upon him, is His servant and His messenger.
قال الله تعالى – يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
Allah Almighty said, “O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allah.” (Surah Ali-Imran:102)
وقال الله تعالى – يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ وَخَلَقَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنۡهُمَا رِجَالٗا كَثِيرٗا وَنِسَآءٗۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي تَسَآءَلُونَ بِهِۦ وَٱلۡأَرۡحَامَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا
And Allah Almighty said, “O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.” (Surah An-Nisa:1)
وقال الله تعالى – اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
And Allah Almighty said, “O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger he has indeed achieved a great achievement ” (33:70-71)
إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ وَأَحْسَنَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَشَرُّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا وَكُلُّ مُحْدَثَةٍ بِدْعَةٌ وَكُلُّ بِدْعَةٍ ضَلَالَةٌ وَكُلُّ ضَلَالَةٍ فِي النَّارِ
The truest word is the Book of Allah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The evilest matters are newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation. Every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.
أما بعد أيها المؤمنين عباد الله : اتقوا الله تعالى ربكم ، وراقبوه سبحانه في جميع أعمالكم مراقبة من يعلم أن ربَّه يسمعُه ويراه.
أيها المؤمنون : يشهد معكم هذه الجمعة ويستمعون معكم إلى الذكر فيها خلقٌ من خلق الله لا ترونهم أخبر عنهم نبيكم الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم ، ففي الصحيحين عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَلَائِكَةٌ يَكْتُبُونَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الْإِمَامُ طَوَوُا الصُّحُفَ وَجَاءُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْرَ)) ، وفي الصحيحين من حديث أبي هريرة أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ((إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّارَةً فُضُلًا يَتَتَبَّعُونَ مَجَالِسَ الذِّكْرِ، فَإِذَا وَجَدُوا مَجْلِسًا فِيهِ ذِكْرٌ قَعَدُوا مَعَهُمْ)) ، وفي صحيح مسلم من حديث أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ((مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللهِ، يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللهِ، وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ، إِلَّا نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمِ السَّكِينَةُ، وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ))
To proceed, O believers, servants of Allah: Fear Allah, your Lord, Allah, may He be exalted, watches over you all in your deeds. Indeed your Lord hears and sees everything.
Oh, Believers, I bear witness with you this Friday that there is a creation from the creation of Allah that we do not see. We have been informed by the noble Prophet (ﷺ) in the Sahihayain upon the authority of Abu Hurayra:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “On every Friday the angels take their stand at every gate of the mosque to write the names of the people chronologically (i.e. according to the time of their arrival for the Friday prayer) and when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) they fold up their scrolls and get ready to listen to the sermon.” And also narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:
Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has supernumerary angels who rove about seeking out gatherings in which Allah’s name is being invoked: they sit with them.’ And also narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:
‘No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that Sakeenah (tranquility) descends upon them, and mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him.’
معاشر العباد : الإيمان بالملائكة أصلٌ من أصول الإيمان وركنٌ من أركان الدين ، ومن خواص صفات أهل الإيمان إيمانهم بالغيب كما قال الله عز وجل: {هُدًى لِلْمُتَّقِينَ }[البقرة:2-3] أي بكل ما غاب عنهم مما أخبرتهم به رسل الله ، ومن ذلكم -عباد الله- الإيمان بالملائكة .
وقد جاء هذا الأصل مقررًا في مواطن كثيرة من كتاب الله عز وجل ؛ فجاء ذكر هذا الأصل العظيم في صفات أهل البر والصدق والتقوى ، قال الله تعالى: {لَيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَنْ تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ}[البقرة:177] ، وجاء ذكر هذا الأصل في صفات أهل الإيمان أتباع الرسول الكريم عليه الصلاة والسلام ، قال الله تعالى : {آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ }[البقرة:285] ، وجاء في القرآن ما يدل على أن عدم الإيمان بهذا الأصل كفرٌ ناقل من الملة ، قال الله تعالى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا }[النساء:136]
Congregation of slaves: Faith in the Angels is from the fundamentals of Belief, from the pillars of the religion. It is from the distinctive signs of the people of faith, their belief in the Unseen as Allah Al-mighty says: {هُدًى لِلْمُتَّقِينَ } ‘Guidance to the God-Fearing’ Meaning everything that is unseen to them that has been informed to them by the Messenger of Allah – Slaves of Allah – Faith in the Angels is from them.
This fundamental belief has been mentioned numerous times in the Book of Allah, It has been mentioned as an attribute of the people of piety, truthfulness, and God Fearing. Allah said:
{لَيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَنْ تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ} [البقرة:177]
It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allah, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets
(Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 177)
It has been mentioned as an attribute of the people of faith that followed the Messenger. Allah Said:
{آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ }[البقرة:285]
The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers.
(Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 285)
It has been mentioned in the Quran that not having Eeman (faith) in this fundamental results in disbelief that exits a person from the religion of Islam. Allah Said:
{يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ
وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا }[النساء:
O you who believe! Believe in Allah, and His Messenger , and the Book (the Quran) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him), and whosoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away. (Surah An-Nisa Ayah 136)
أيها المؤمنون : والإيمان بالملائكة هو إيمانٌ بكل ما جاء عنهم في القرآن أو السنة من ذكرٍ لأسمائهم ، أو أعدادهم ، أو أوصافهم ، أو أعمالهم ؛ إجمالًا فيما أُجمل وتفصيلًا فيما فُصِّل .
أيها المؤمنون : وكلما ازداد العبد علمًا بتفاصيل ما جاء في القرآن والسنة مما يتعلق بهذا الأصل العظيم كان ذلك زيادةً في إيمانه وقوةً في يقينه وسببًا عظيمًا لصلاح عمله .
أيها المؤمنون : وفيما يتعلق بأسماء الملائكة لم يأتِ في القرآن والسنة إلا ذكرٌ لعددٍ قليل من أسمائهم ؛ كجبريل ، وميكائيل ، وإسرافيل ، ومالك خازن النار، ومنكر ونكير ، لكن ذكر الله عز وجل في مواطن من القرآن أسماءً تتناول الملائكة كلهم؛ كـ«الملائكة» و«رسل الله» ، {اللَّهُ يَصْطَفِي مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ النَّاسِ }[الحج:75] ، وقال عز وجل في سورةٍ تُعرف في بعض أسمائها بـ«سورة الملائكة» قال: {جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَى وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ }[فاطر:1] . وسماهم جل وعلا الكرام ، البررة ، السفرة ، وسماهم جنود الله {وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ }[المدثر:31] ، فجميع ما جاء من ذلك -عباد الله- نؤمن به
Oh, believers: Faith in the Angels includes believing in everything that has been revealed in the Quran and the Sunnah concerning their names, their numbers, their attributes, their actions or duties. As a whole, the beautiful details have been explained.
Oh, believers: Every time the slaves increase their knowledge and understanding in this great fundamental belief it helps them to increase and strengthen their Faith, it helps to increase conviction and rectify their actions.
In relation to the names of the angels then there is a mention of a small proportion of names of some select angels, like Jibraeel, Mikael, Israfael, Malik the guardian of the Hellfire, Munkar and Nakeer. However Allah has mentioned in numerous places names that include all of the Angels like “Angels’ and ‘Messengers’ he said:
{اللَّهُ يَصْطَفِي مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ النَّاسِ }[الحج:75]
Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men. (Surah Al-Hajj Ayah 75)
Allah Al-mighty said in the chapter which is known by the name of ‘Surah Malaekah’
{جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَى وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ }[فاطر:1]
All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the (only) Originator [or the (only) Creator] of the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings, – two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things. (Surah Fatir Ayah 1)
وفيما يتعلق بأعدادهم ؛ فإن عددهم لا يعلمه إلا الذي خلقهم جل في علاه ، لكن جاءت نصوص كثيرة تدل على أن الملائكة كثرةٌ كاثرة وعددهم كبير جدا ، ففي حديث الإسراء والمعراج قال النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام : ((رُفِعَ لِي الْبَيْتُ الْمَعْمُورُ ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا جِبْرِيلُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ: هَذَا الْبَيْتُ الْمَعْمُورُ يَدْخُلُهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ، إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنْهُ لَمْ يَعُودُوا فِيهِ آخِرُ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ)) ، وفي المسند أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ((أَطَّتِ السَّمَاءُ وَحُقَّ لَهَا أَنْ تَئِطَّ، مَا فِيهَا مَوْضِعُ أَرْبَعِ أَصَابِعَ إِلَّا عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ سَاجِدٌ )) ، وذكر نبينا عليه الصلاة والسلام -كما في صحيح مسلم- الملائكة الذين يجرون جهنم إلى أرض المحشر فقال : ((يُؤْتَى بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَهَا سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ زِمَامٍ، مَعَ كُلِّ زِمَامٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يَجُرُّونَهَا)) . فالحاصل -عباد الله- أن من إيمان المرء بالملائكة إيمانه بأعدادهم إجمالًا فيما أُجمل وتفصيلًا فيما فُصِّل
With regard to their numbers; Their number is known only to Him who created them, may He be exalted above Him, but many texts came indicating that the angels are many, and their number is very large. In the Hadith of the night journey, the Prophet said:
‘Then the Bait-ul-Ma’mur was raised up to me. I said: O Gabriel! what is this? He replied: It is the Bait-ul-Ma’mur. Seventy thousand angels enter into it daily and after they come out, they never return again.’ And in the Musnad, it was narrated: ‘The Heavens moan, and they have the right to moan. There is no spot, the size of four fingers in them, except that there is an angel placing his forehead in it, prostrating to Allah.’ It has been mentioned to us by the Prophet as has been collected in Sahih Muslim concerning the angels that will bring forth the Hellfire to the gathering place: ‘Hell would be brought on that day (the Day of Judgment) with seventy thousand bridles, and seventy thousand angels dragging each bridle.’
In Summary, servants of Allah, as part of a person’s belief in the angels is his belief in their numbers in general in what is more beautiful, and in detail in what is detailed.
وفيما يتعلق -عباد الله- بأوصاف الملائكة ؛ فإنهم خلقٌ من خلق الله خلقهم الله جل وعلا من نور ، وهم لا يأكلون ولا يشربون ولا يتناسلون كما هي الحال في الجن والإنس ، ولا يعصون الله فيما أمرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون ، ونؤمن بكل وصف لهم جاء في القرآن والسنة إجمالًا أو تفصيلا ومن ذلكم -عباد الله- ما ثبت في الحديث أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ((رأيت جبريل وقد سدَّ الأفق ، وله ستمائة جناح)) ، في الحديث الآخر قال عليه الصلاة والسلام : ((أُذِنَ لِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَ عَنْ مَلَكٍ مِنْ مَلَائِكَةِ اللَّهِ مِنْ حَمَلَةِ الْعَرْشِ، إِنَّ مَا بَيْنَ شَحْمَةِ أُذُنِهِ إِلَى عَاتِقِهِ مَسِيرَةُ سَبْعِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ)) أي لو أن طيرًا طار من عاتق هذا الملك متجهًا إلى أذنه احتاج إلى سبعمائة سنة من الطيران حتى يصل إلى شحمة الأذن ، وهذا يدل على عظم خلق الملائكة
With regard to – servants of Allah – the descriptions of angels; They are a creation from Allah’s creation, Allah Almighty created them from light, and they do not eat, drink, or reproduce, as is the case with jinn and humans, and they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and they do what they are commanded, and we believe in every description of them that came in the Qur’an and Sunnah in summary or in detail, and from that – servants Allah – What is proven in the Hadith that the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ‘ I saw Jibraeel, he had six-hundred wings which filled the horizon.’ And in another narration: ‘I have been permitted to tell about one of Allah’s angels who bears the throne that the distance between the lobe of his ear and his shoulder is a journey of seven hundred years.’ That is, if a bird flew from the shoulder of this angel heading towards his ear, it would need seven hundred years of flight to reach the earlobe, and this indicates the greatness of the creation of the angels.
عباد الله : وما يتعلق بوظائف الملائكة وأعمالهم ؛ فهم جنودٌ لله ، ورسلٌ يأتمرون بأمر الله ، لا يعصون الله ما أمرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون ، منهم من وكل الله إليهم النزول بالوحي ، ومنهم من وكل إليه أمر القطر والسحاب والنبات ، ومنهم من وكل إليه قبض الأرواح ، ومنهم من وكل إليهم النفخ في الصور ، قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : ((إِنَّ طَرْفَ صَاحِبِ الصُّورِ مُذْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ مُسْتَعِدٌّ يَنْظُرُ نَحْوَ الْعَرْشِ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُؤْمَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْهِ طَرْفُهُ، كَأَنَّ عَيْنَيْهِ كَوْكَبَانِ دُرِّيَّانِ)) ، ومنهم من وكل الله إليه كتابة أعمال العباد {مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ }[ق:18]، ومنهم من وكل إليه حفظ العباد {لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ }[الرعد:11] ، إلى غير ذلك من وظائف الملائكة العظام وأعمالها الجسام التي تفعلها مؤتمرةً منقادةً مطيعةً لله سبحانه وتعالى .
معاشر المؤمنين : واجبٌ على كل مسلم أن يُعنى بهذا الأصل العظيم من أصول الإيمان والركن المتين من أركان الدين، وأن يُعنى بزيادة الإيمان بهذا الخلق معرفةً بأسمائهم وأعدادهم وأوصافهم ووظائفهم في ضوء كتاب الله وسنة نبيه ومصطفاه صلى الله عليه وسلم .
أقول هذا القول وأستغفر الله لي ولكم ولسائر المسلمين من كل ذنب فاستغفروه يغفر لكم إنه هو الغفور الرحيم
Servants of Allah: And what is related to the functions and deeds of the angels; They are soldiers of Allah, and messengers who obey Allah’s command, they do not disobey what Allah commands them and they do what they are commanded. Among them are those to whom Allah has entrusted the revelation, and among them are those to whom the command of rain, clouds, and vegetation is entrusted, and among them is he who is entrusted with taking the souls, and among them is he who is entrusted in blowing the trumpet. Prophet said: “The gaze of the one who will blow the Trumpet has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne, ready (to blow it), in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks as if his eyes are two shining stars.” Classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1078
From them are those that have been assigned to record the actions of the slaves:
{مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ }[ق:18]
Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it. (Surah Qaaf Ayah 18)
From them are those that have been assigned to guard over the slaves:
{لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ }[الرعد:11]
For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah. (Surah Ar-Raad Ayah 11)
To other functions of the great angels and their great deeds, which they do in congregation, submissive, and obedient to Allah Almighty.
Oh Congregation of believers: It is obligatory for every Muslim to take care of this great foundation of faith and the solid pillar of the religion, and to take care of increasing faith in this creation by knowing their names, numbers, descriptions, and functions in the light of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet and Chosen One, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him.
I say this and I ask Allah’s forgiveness for me, you, and the rest of the Muslims for every sin, so seek forgiveness from Him, and He will forgive you. Indeed, He is the oft-forgiving, the most Merciful.
الخطبة الثانية :
الحمد لله كثيرا ، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله ؛ صلى الله وسلَّم عليه وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين . أمَّا بعد أيها المؤمنون عباد الله : اتّقوا الله تعالى .
عباد الله : ومما جاء في القرآن والسنة مما يتعلق بالملائكة ؛كثرة دعائهم للمؤمنين ، وذلك لجامع وصف الإيمان بينهم وبين المؤمنين ، قال الله عز وجل {الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ}[غافر:7] ؛ دعواتٌ صادقات عظيمات تدعو بها ملائكة الله لعباد الله المؤمنين ، وهذا من الدلائل والشواهد أن رابطة الإيمان هي أوثق رابطةٍ على الإطلاق ، فها هم ملائكة الله مع أن جنسهم جنس آخر غير جنس البشر ، لكن لما جمعتهم هذه الرابطة العظيمة كانوا يُعنون بهذه الدعوات العظيمات . وقد جاء في هذا الباب نصوص كثيرة في ذكر دعاء الملائكة للمؤمنين بحسب مناسبات ومقامات متنوعات .
رزقنا الله أجمعين حبهم والمعرفة بأقدارهم والإيمان الصادق بهم وبكل ما جاء عنهم في كتاب ربنا وسنة نبينا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم
Second Khutbah
All Praise belongs to Allah abundantly, I bear witness there is no one worthy of worship except Allah alone without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammed is his slave and Messenger, may peace and blessings be upon him, his family and all of his companions.
الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ}[غافر:7]
Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) (saying): “Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! (Surah Ghafir Ayah 7)
Sincere and great salutations are extended by the angels of Allah to the believing servants of Allah. This is one of the evidences and indications that the bond of Imaan (faith) is the strongest bond ever. Here, the Angels of Allah, who are of a different species than humans, are united by this great bond, and they use these great salutations to call upon the believers. Many texts mention the angels’ supplication for the believers on various occasions and in diverse circumstances. May Allah grant us all their love, knowledge of their destiny, and sincere faith in them and in everything that has been mentioned about them in our Lord’s book (Quran) and the traditions of our noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
وصلُّوا وسلِّموا رحمكم الله على النبي المصطفى محمد بن عبد الله كما أمركم الله بذلك في كتابه فقال: ﴿ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً ﴾ [الأحزاب:٥٦] ، وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم : (( مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا عَشْرًا)) . اللهم صلِّ على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد وبارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد .
وارض اللهم عن الخلفاء الراشدين الأئمة المهديين أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي ، وارض اللهم عن الصحابة أجمعين وعن التابعين ومن اتبعهم بإحسان إلى يوم الدين ، وعنا معهم بمنك وكرمك وإحسانك يا أكرم الأكرمين .
Send peace and blessings upon the Chosen Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, as Allah commanded you to do so in His Book, and He said
﴿ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً ﴾ [الأحزاب:٥٦]
Allah sends His Salat (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet and also His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salat on (ask Allah to bless) him, and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation). (Surah Al-Ahzab Ayah 56)
And he (Prophet), may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((Whoever prays for Allah’s blessings upon me once, will be blessed for it by Allah ten times.).
O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
May Allah be pleased with the Rightly Guided Caliphs, the Imams, the Guides, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, and be pleased with all of the Companions and those who followed them until the Day of Judgment.
اللهم أعز الإسلام والمسلمين ، اللهم أعز الإسلام والمسلمين , اللهم أعز الإسلام والمسلمين ، وأذل الشرك والمشركين ، ودمر أعداء الدين ، واحم حوزة الدين يا رب العالمين , اللهم انصر من نصر دينك , اللهم انصر إخواننا في كل مكان اللهم انصرهم في فلسطين وفي كل مكان , اللهم انصرهم نصرا مؤزرا , اللهم أيدهم بتأييدك واحفظهم بحفظك يا ذا الجلال والإكرام , اللهم وعليك باليهود المعتدين الغاصبين فإنهم لا يعجزونك , اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم ونعوذ بك اللهم من شرورهم , اللهم آمنا في أوطاننا وأصلح أئمتنا وولاة أمورنا واجعل ولايتنا فيمن خافك واتقاك واتبع رضاك يا رب العالمين . اللهم وفق ولي أمرنا لما تحب وترضى وأعنه على البر والتقوى وسدده في أقوله وأعماله وألبسه ثوب الصحة العافية وارزقه البطانة الصالحة الناصحة , اللهم وفق جميع ولاة أمور المسلمين للعمل بكتابك واتباع سنة نبيك محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، واجعلهم رحمة ورأفة على عبادك المؤمنين .
O Allah, reinforce Islam and Muslims, O Allah, reinforce Islam and Muslims, O Allah, reinforce Islam and Muslims, humiliate polytheism and polytheists, destroy the enemies of religion, and protect the possession of religion, O Lord of the worlds, O Allah, grant victory to those who support your religion, O Allah, grant victory to our brothers everywhere, O Allah, grant them victory in Palestine and everywhere, O Allah, grant them a resounding victory, O Allah, support them with your support and protect them with your protection, O Lord of Majesty and Honor. Oh Allah, protect us from the aggressors and usurpers, for they do not fail you. Oh, Allah, we make (Dua) to you against them and seek refuge in you. O Allah, give the ruler the insight to do what you love and accept, and help him in righteousness and piety, and direct him in his sayings and deeds, and clothe him in the garment of health and wellness, and grant him the righteous and sincere inner circle.
اللهم آت نفوسنا تقواها زكها أنت خير من زكاها أنت وليها ومولها , اللهم إنا نسألك الهدى والسداد , اللهم إنا نسألك من الخير كله عاجله وآجله ما علِمنا منه وما لم نعلم ، ونعوذ بك من الشر كله عاجله وآجله ما علِمنا منه وما لم نعلم , اللهم وإنا نسألك الجنة وما قرب إليها من قول أو عمل ، ونعوذ بك من النار وما قرب إليها من قول أو عمل . اللهم أجرنا من النار , اللهم أجرنا من النار, اللهم أجرنا من النار , اللهم اجعل كل قضاء قضيت لنا خير يا رب العالمين , اللهم ألف بين قلوبنا وأصلح ذات بيننا واهدنا سبل السلام وأخرجنا من الظلمات إلى النور وبارك لنا في أسماعنا وأبصرنا وأزواجنا وذرياتنا وأموالنا واجعلنا مباركين أينما كنا , اللهم اغفر لنا ذنبنا كله ؛ دقه وجله ، أوله وآخره ، سره وعلنه , اللهم اغفر لنا ولوالدينا وللمسلمين والمسلمات والمؤمنين والمؤمنات الأحياء منهم والأموات إنك أنت الغفور الرحيم . وآخر دعوانا أن الحمد لله رب العالمين .
Oh, Allah, give our souls piety, purify them, You are better at purifying them, You are their guardian and their guardian. We ask you for Paradise and whatever word or deed brings us closer to it, and we seek refuge in You from Hell and whatever word or action brings us closer to it. O Allah, save us from the fire, O Allah, save us from the fire, O Allah, save us from the fire, O Allah, make every judgment you have made good for us, O Lord of the worlds. Oh Allah, reconcile our hearts, reconcile us, guide us to the paths of peace, bring us out of darkness into light, bless our hearing, our sight, our wives, our offspring, our wealth, and make us blessed wherever we are. Oh Allah, forgive us all our sins. You are the first and his last, to you belongs what is secret and what is public, O Allah, forgive us and our parents and the Muslims, the Muslim men and women, the believing men and women, the living among them, and the dead. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful. And Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
