السؤال:
عملنا في شركة، وكان المهندس صاحبها مسيحيًا، وذات يوم طلب منا مبلغًا نتبرع به في بناء كنيسة، وفعلنا، فما رأي سماحتكم في ذلك؟
The Question
We worked in a company, and the engineer who owned the company was a Christian, one day asked us for an amount to donate to build a church, and we did, so what is your opinion on this action?
الجواب:
هذا منكر عظيم، هذا لا يجوز، عليهم التوبة إلى الله ، بعض أهل العلم يرى هذا كفرًا وردة -نعوذ بالله- لأنه مساعدة على إقامة الكفر، فالواجب على من فعل هذا: التوبة إلى الله، والرجوع إليه والندم، والإقلاع، وعدم العودة إلى مثل هذا.
Answer :
This is a great evil, this is not permissible, they have to repent to Allah, some people of knowledge see this as disbelief and apostasy – we seek refuge in Allah – because it is helping to establish disbelief, so it is obligatory upon the one who did this: to repent to Allah, and return to him, be regretful, to stop (this action) and not return to the likes of this.
