People will be judged based on their actions

That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do.

Your relationship to the Prophets or righteous people among your ancestors will not benefit you, unless you perform good deeds that bring about religious benefit. They have their deeds and you have yours. (Ibn Kathir – Surah Baqarah Ayah 134)

A person is judged based on his own actions and not the actions of others.

He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. Surah Baqarah Ayah 286

Nothing will benefit you on the Day of Judgment except your own deeds.
